1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Humble Home TN (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (referred to as “you” or “your”) for residential cleaning services. By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Service Agreement

Scope of Service: We will provide residential cleaning services as described in the service agreement. The specific services to be rendered, including the frequency and duration of service, will be outlined in a separate cleaning agreement or work order.

Access to Premises: You agree to provide our cleaning staff access to the premises at the scheduled cleaning times. If access is denied or delayed, we may need to reschedule the cleaning, and additional fees may apply.

3. Non-Accessible Water or Power

At Humble Home TN, we strive to provide efficient and reliable cleaning services to our valued clients. To maintain the high standards of our service, we have implemented the following policy regarding situations where our cleaning team arrives on-site and encounters a lack of access to water or power:

  • Client Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure uninterrupted access to both water and electricity at the scheduled cleaning location.

  • One-Hour Grace Period: We provide a one-hour window upon arrival for clients to resolve any water or power issues. During this time, our team will wait for the situation to be rectified.

  • Non-Refundable Fee for Unresolved Issues: If, within the one-hour grace period, the client is unable to restore access to water or power, and the cleaning service cannot be performed as a result, we reserve the right to charge a non-refundable fee equal to 100% of the initially quoted service price.

  • Cancellation Policy: If the service is canceled due to the unavailability of water or power beyond the one-hour grace period, the client will be charged the full amount of the quoted service fee.

  • Communication Protocol: Clients should promptly communicate any issues related to water or power access before the scheduled cleaning date to avoid inconvenience.

  • Rescheduling Options: Clients facing unexpected challenges with water or power access are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible to explore potential rescheduling options, subject to availability.

By engaging Humble Home TN, clients acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy.

4. Payment and Pricing

Pricing: The pricing for our cleaning services will be detailed in the cleaning agreement or work order. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing. If any adjustments are made and you are a recurring client, you will be notified prior to any charges.

Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of each cleaning service. We accept payment by credit card. Invoices not paid within 24 hours will be automatically charged.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment by providing at least 3 business days’ notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

Our Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness or inclement weather. We will make every effort to reschedule at a convenient time for you.

6. Liability and Damages

Liability: We carry liability insurance to cover any damages caused by our cleaning staff. Please report any damage within 24 hours of the cleaning service. We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear.

Valuables: Please secure or remove valuable items and sensitive documents before our staff arrives. We cannot be held liable for the loss of any items.

7. Data Usage

You understand that Humble Home TN may send occasional text messages or emails for appointment reminders and promotions. By providing your number, you consent to receiving messages from the company. To opt-out, reply STOP at any time. (Message and Data rates may apply.) For more assistance, you may also contact us by phone or email.

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will treat all information regarding your premises and personal details as confidential. We will not disclose any client information to third parties without your explicit consent.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for your complete satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning, and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time. We reserve the right to terminate the agreement immediately for non-payment or violation of these terms and conditions.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Image Privacy

The Humble Home TN team may take images of our work done at your home or office to share on our social media platforms. Rest assured, we ensure that no identifiable images or information will be taken or published. Your privacy is important to us!
